Clinical MFT Supervision is the process of evaluating, training, and providing oversight to trainees using relational or systemic approaches to help them attain systemic clinical skills. Supervision is provided to an MFT or MFT trainee through live observation, face-to-face contact, or visual/audio technology-assisted means as allowed via AAMFT.

 

Supervision Purpose and Goals

My approach to supervision is an integrative developmental model that meets you where you are professionally and personally while ensuring you have a deep understanding that having the art of constructing, enhancing, and refining this framework over time and in response to your particular environment can support your wealth of knowledge. I want to nurture clinicians to feel confident in their skills and maintain integrity. In the supervisory relationship, building trust is a crucial component. Modeling an appropriate, open, collaborative relationship with you is my priority which will allow trust to form naturally.

 

Whom can I supervise? 

MFT supervisees or trainees are graduate students in training to become mental health therapists or postgraduate therapists supervised by an Approved Supervisor or supervisor candidate to learn systemic and relational therapy for working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. MFT trainees may be individuals working toward post-graduate requirements for MFT licensure or Professional Member of AAMFT; graduate students in or graduates of non-MFT mental health professions such as social work, professional counseling, or psychology; and individuals who wish to learn therapy from a systemic perspective and as directed by state licensure board requirements. 

 

Who am I?

• A supervisor candidate who has completed a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy

• Holds a Professional membership in AAMFT 

• Supervised by Approved Supervisor mentor 

• Licensed in PA, NJ, and can sign paperwork for NYC

Rates

Individual Clinical Supervision: $115 for 60 minutes

Dyadic Clinical Supervision: $ 150 for 80 minutes 

Group Clinical Supervision: $75 per person for 120 minutes.

Student Rate: $65 for 60 minutes

Student group rate available upon request
